UdeA Portfolio: COIL Courses Mirror Classes
With the aim of continuing strengthening the strategy of internationalization of the curriculum of the Universidad de Antioquia, the Vice-Rectorate of Teaching and the International Affairs Office make available to their national and international partners the offer of courses that can be taught in the form of mirror classes and/or COIL courses.
Below are some basic definitions and course offerings for the academic semester 2024-2 (July-December).
COIL - Collaborative Online International Learning: is a teaching and learning methodology that has as its main characteristic the joint work between two training spaces with similar and/or complementary contents. It is taught jointly by two or more faculty members, who collaborate to develop a shared curriculum that emphasizes experiential learning and student-centered collaboration. Mirror Class: it is a didactic resource, developed through information and communication technologies, where two or more teachers and their students connect to address a topic or area of knowledge, from different cultural and/or disciplinary contexts. See more: https://udearroba.udea.
